Update your 72-hour emergency kit

In case of a sudden emergency, do you have a plan and supplies ready? Your kit should contain basic supplies to be self-sufficient for the first 72 hours, including: non-perishable food, bottled water, blankets, a first aid kit, a flashlight.

Keep these in a backpack in the front closet, or another easily accessible spot. Be sure to include your pets in the plan, and replenish supplies every six months or more.

See the full list of recommended supplies, download our Power Outage Preparedness Guide, and watch our emergency kit video at: AlectraUtilities.com/Prepared
